Just wanted to key you in on two things I’m excited about for the new year:
- Playing with Darcy James Argue’s Secret Society on January 8th at Le Poisson Rouge and January 9th at the Jazz Gallery. Darcy’s recent CD, Infernal Machines, has been on just about everybody’s top 10 list, from the New York Times to the Wall Street Journal, to NPR. Check out the “Itinerary” section for more info.
- I’m very excited about the trio session I did with Chris Lightcap and Ted Poor this December! The first track you hear on this site is our version of my original, “The Fates,” and I’ve also posted a take of my tune, “Firstness” in the “Listen” section. Please check it out!
