I’m excited to announce that I’ll be recording a new album at the end of the fall, to be entitled Simple Songs for When the World Seems Strange. I couldn’t be more excited that it will feature the sounds of my absolute favorite musicians: the voice of Jo Lawry, the bass playing of Chris Lightcap and the drumming of Ted Poor. The album, consisting of mostly original songs, will be about half solo piano and about half trio with Jo’s voice sprinkled as an extra treat on a bit of both portions. Recording will take place November 5th and December 10th in Michael Brorby’s studio in Brooklyn, New York.
