In an article entitled “An evening of surprises, imagination, and charm,” Indy Star critic Jay Harvey wrote, for the “bottom line” on my performance at the APA’s Jazz Premiere Series: “Pianist expresses, and instills, a sense of wonder.” He praised my “exhaustive imagination” as well as my “rhythmic and tonal mastery” which “seemed almost offhand.” In all, the performance “ruled the stage as firmly in talk as it did musically.”
