I’m just back from a fun weekend in Sarasota, FL, although it wasn’t quite as warm as I hoped. So, the Britton Brothers Band finally have a date to celebrate the release of their debut album, “Uncertain Living,” it’s 6 PM at Puppet’s Jazz Bar on April 9th, and will feature the guest artistry of the unbelievable Chris Potter on tenor saxophone!!! Don’t miss a rare chance to see Chris at a local (read: cheap) venue.
Also, if you haven’t seen the article on Fred Hersch in the New York Times’ Sunday magazine, it’s worth checking out, and you can make a scavenger hunt for my name (!) which makes its way into the article.
This weekend, I’m going into the studio with friends Steph Chou, Joel Gombiner, Daniel Ori, Ronen Itzik, and special guest Marcus Printup (!!) to record some of Steph’s new music.
